Wild Rice With Mushrooms Recipe

3 tablespoons butter or margarine
 
1/2 pound mushrooms, sliced
 
1 cup wild rice
 
2 cups water
 
1 teaspoon chicken-flavor instant bouillon
 
Salt

Directions

1. In 2-quart saucepan over medium-high heat, in hot butter or margarine, cook mushrooms 5 minutes, stirring occasionally.
2. Rinse wild rice; drain. Add wild rice, water, and bouillon to mushrooms; over high heat, heat to boiling. Reduce heat to low; cover and simmer 45 to 50 minutes, until rice is tender and all liquid is absorbed. Add salt to taste.
