Wild Rice Recipe
Wild Rice is a unique and winning rice preparation that is perfect for your dinner parties. Surprise your guests with this delicious rice dish. I am sure they will love the Wild Rice.
Ingredients
1/2 cup wild rice
2 cups boiling water
1 1/2 tsp. salt
Season with salt, pepper, and generous amount of butter
Directions
Wash 1/2 cup wild rice in cold water.
Cover with 2 cups boiling water.
Cover and let stand 20 min.
Drain and repeat 3 times, using fresh boiling water each time and adding 1 1/2 tsp. salt the last time.
Season with salt, pepper, and generous amount of butter.
Rice may be kept warm in oven or in double boiler. (Cover if held longer than 5 min.)
Cover with 2 cups boiling water.
