Whole Wheat Scones Recipe

Ingredients

 
Prepare these a day or so in advance.
 
Use 1/2-cups flour
 
1 cup milk
 
11/2-cups crushed wheat
 
1 tspn, salt
 
31/2-tspns. baking powder

Directions

Sift flour, salt and baking powder together and add the crushed wheat.
Rub butter in with fingers and add milk until a stiff dough is obtained.
Roll out on a floured board until about 1/4" thick and cut into shapes.
Bake on a greased sheet in a warm oven (400° F) until light brown.
If prepared in advance, warm before serving.
