Whole Wheat Sugar Cookies Recipe

Ingredients
| All purpose flour | 1 Cup (16 tbs) | |
| Whole wheat flour | 3⁄4 Cup (12 tbs) | |
| Baking powder | 1 Teaspoon | |
| Margarine | 1⁄3 Cup (5.33 tbs) | |
| Sugar | 1⁄3 Cup (5.33 tbs) | |
| Egg | 1 | |
| Vanilla extract | 1 Teaspoon | |
| Vegetable cooking spray | (as required) |
Directions
Combine first 3 ingredients; set aside.
Cream margarine in a medium bowl; gradually add sugar, beating until light and fluffy.
Add egg, beating well.
Stir in vanilla.
Add flour mixture, stirring until blended.
Cover and chill dough thoroughly.
Turn dough out onto a lightly floured surface, and roll to 1/4-inch thickness; cut with a 2-inch cookie cutter.
Place on cookie sheets lightly coated with cooking spray.
Bake at 375° for 8 minutes or until golden brown.
Remove from cookie sheets, and cool completely on wire racks.
