Whole Tomato Aspic Recipe
Tickle your tastebuds with this delicious Whole Tomato Aspic, won't you? I never fail to eat Side Dish while dining out and this is the most common dish that I order. A good way to use up Vegetable is to make some irresistible Whole Tomato Aspic. Try this Whole Tomato Aspic once and only once! Your loyalty to it forever is guaranteed!
Ingredients
1 (28 oz.) can whole tomatoes
4 oz. water
1 medium onion, chopped very fine
2 pkgs. unflavoured gelatin
2 teaspoons lemon juice or vinegar
Directions
Lift the whole tomatoes out of their liquid and set aside.
Bring the liquid plus water and onion to a boil to partially cook onion.
Soften the gelatin with a little cold water and mix with tomato liquid, lemon juice (or vinegar).
Place tomatoes in a mold, pour gelatin mixture on top.
Sprinkle with a little chopped parsley, chopped celery, or finely shredded green pepper.
Cool, then refrigerate to set.
