Directions
Clean and apply salt to the fish.
Keep for 15-20 minutes.
Wash thoroughly.
Apply a little more salt all around as well as inside the cavity of the fish and then stuff the cavity with chutney.
Melt a tsp of butter in a serving dish and place the whole fish in it.
Microwave covered with 70% power for 3 minutes on each side for a pomfret, and with 70% power for 8 minutes on each side for ramas or surmai.
