Ingredients

 Salmon fish500 Gram
 Salt To Taste
 1/2 kg. large tomatoes
 Oil1 Tablespoon (FOR TOMATO SAUCE)
 1 coarsely chopped onion
 Garlic8 Clove (5gm), crushed (FOR TOMATO SAUCE)
 Ginger piece1/2 , finely chopped (FOR TOMATO SAUCE)
 Chilli powder1 Teaspoon (FOR TOMATO SAUCE)
 Garam masala powder1/2 Teaspoon (FOR TOMATO SAUCE)
 Salt To Taste (FOR TOMATO SAUCE)
 Vinegar1 Tablespoon (FOR TOMATO SAUCE)
 Sugar1 Teaspoon (FOR TOMATO SAUCE)
 1 tbsp chopped coriander leaves

Directions

Clean and apply salt to the fish.
Keep for 15-20 minutes.
Wash thoroughly and slash the fish on either side in 3-4 places, keeping the fish whole.
Apply a little salt on the fish.
Bring to a boil 4 cups of water in a large bowl in the microwave.
This will take about 8 minutes.
Place tomatoes in the hot water and keep aside for 3 minutes, and then plunge them into cold water.
Skin and chop coarsely.
Keep aside.
In another shallow microwave dish mix in oil, onion and garlic and microwave covered for 3 minutes.
Mix in ginger, chilli powder, garam masala powder and salt and microwave further for 2 minutes.
Stir in tomatoes, vinegar and sugar, and microwave covered for 3-5 minutes more, stirring occasionally until the liquid is mushy.
