Whole Trout With Prosciutto And Breadcrumbs Recipe
Ingredients
| Trout | 6 Pound | |
| Soft bread crumbs | 6 Tablespoon | |
| Garlic | 3 Clove (5gm), minced | |
| Minced parsley | 2 Tablespoon | |
| 3 tablespoons chopped prosciutto or other ham | ||
| 3 tablespoons plus 1 teaspoon olive oil | ||
| Pepper | 1/4 Teaspoon | |
| Lemon wedges | ||
Directions
1. Preheat oven to 475°. Slash trout diagonally twice on each side, 1/4 to 1/2 inch.
2. In a small bowl, combine bread crumbs, garlic, parsley, prosciutto, 1 teaspoon olive oil, and pepper. Lightly fill slashes in trout with bread mixture.
3. Rub 1/2 tablespoon olive oil over each fish. Place fish in an oiled baking dish and bake 12 to 15 minutes, or until fish is just opaque near bone.
