Whiting With Shallot Sauce Recipe
Ingredients
| Shallots | 2 Ounce, finely chopped | |
| Dry white wine | 2/3 Cup (16 tbs) | |
| 4 cleaned silver hake or whiting | ||
| Salt | To Taste | |
| Pepper | 1 | |
| Lemon juice | 3 Tablespoon | |
| Butter | 2 Teaspoon | |
| Sour cream | 3 Tablespoon | |
| Parsley | 2 Tablespoon, chopped | |
Directions
Put the shallots in a bowl.
Pour the white wine over the shallots and cook in the microwave oven for 6 minutes on HIGH.
Rinse the fish under cold running water and pat dry on kitchen paper.
Season the insides of the fish with salt and pepper.
Make 2 or 3 deep incisions in the fleshiest part of the fish.
Sprinkle the base of a rectangular or oval dish with salt and pepper and arrange the fish on it, side by side and head-to-tail.
Pour the lemon juice over.
Dot with butter, cover and microwave on HIGH for 7 minutes.
Using two large spatulas, carefully transfer the fish to a serving dish.
