Whiting In White Wine Recipe
Ingredients
1 medium sized boned whiting per person
4 tabs. dry white wine
1 tab. French mustard
1 oz butter
Juice of 1 lemon
1 tab. chopped parsley
1/2 onion
Directions
Grease a shallow fireproof dish and place the whiting in it.
Season, and sprinkle the onion, finely chopped, upon it.
Melt the butter in a saucepan, then add wine, mustard, lemon juice and parsley.
When blended, pour this sauce over the fish, cover casserole, and bake in a moderate oven for 30-40 minutes.
