 Whiskey2 Ounce (Preferably Makers Mark)
 Raspberries5
 Lemon juice1⁄2 Ounce
 Rose water6 Drop
 Lemon wheel1 (For Garnishing)
 Honey clove star anise simple syrup1 Ounce
 Bourbon1 1⁄4 Ounce (Preferably Makers Mark)
 Lemon juice1⁄2 Ounce
 Ice1 (As Required)
 Star anise1 (For Garnish)
 Mint leaves1 Tablespoon (For Garnish)
 Ginger syrup1⁄2 Ounce

Directions

MAKING
For Shea's Rebellion
1 In a mixing glass combine fresh raspberries, lemon juice, and ginger syrup.
2 Using a pestle, muddle the ingredients a bit.
3 Pour in the makers mark whiskey and add some ice.
4 Cover the mixing glass and give it a vigorous shake.
5 Strain the drink into a cocktail glass.
6 Add the rose water for aroma.
7 Serve garnished with a lemon wheel.

For Derby Cocktail No. 2
8 In a mixing glass, combine honey clove star anise simple syrup along with makers mark bourbon and fresh lemon juice.
9 Add ice to the glass and give the drink a good stir.
10 Strain the drink in a cocktail glass.
11 Serve garnished with mint leaves and a star anise.

Wow ! I love these White House Press Dinner Cocktails ! Try are so easy and convenient to make. I'm not a drinker. Could you please tell me when these cocktails are best served ? Before the main course or something? Also what dinner menu best complements this cocktail healthwise ?
