White Clam Sauce Recipe

Ingredients

 
2 teaspoons olive oil
 
1 garlic clove, minced
 
2 cups bottled clam juice
 
1/2 teaspoon each oregano leaves and salt
 
1/8 teaspoon white pepper
 
8 ounces drained canned minced clams
 
2 tablespoons chopped fresh parsley

Directions

In 1-quart saucepan heat oil; add garlic and saute just until golden.
Add remaining ingredients except clams and parsley and bring to a boil.
Reduce heat and let simmer for 5 minutes.
Add clams and parsley and cook until thoroughly heated, about 3 minutes longer.
