White Bean Crostini Recipe Video
Try this exotic white bean crostini appetizer. It’s a healthy and flavorful appetizer that is sure to get a conversation started. Simple and made with only five ingredients, this is an easy to make but elegant appetizer for any dinner or lunch party.
Ingredients
2 garlic cloves, minced
2 springs of fresh rosemary leaves, chopped
3 tbsp extra virgin olive oil
2 cans white beans, drained and rinsed
sliced and lightly toasted baguette
Directions
Sauté the garlic and rosemary in the olive oil on low heat in a pan.
Add in the beans. Press down on the beans and mash them lightly as you cook them to incorporate the flavor of the garlic and the herb.
Add some chicken broth if the beans begin to dry too much.
When the beans are done, spoon them on top of sliced and lightly toasted whole wheat baguette and serve.
