Ingredients

 1 medium sized pineapple, peeled and cut into fine chunks
 Brown sugar1/2 Cup (16 tbs), firmly packed
 1/2 whole nutmeg, grated
 1 vanilla bean, slit in half lengthwise
 Sections of 2 grapefruit
 Sections of 2 oranges
 Zest (outer peel) of 1 lime
 Juice of 2 limes
 Dry white wine1 Bottle (1l), chilled
 Pineapple orange6 Cup (16 tbs)

Directions

The day before the party, place in a large bowl or pitcher the pineapple, brown sugar, nutmeg, and vanilla bean.
Mix and cover.
Place in a cool place (not in refrigerator), and allow to stand 12 to 24 hours.
Add grapefruit and orange sections.
Twist strips of lime zest to extract oil and drop into punch.
Add lime juice, wine, and fruit juice.
Pour over ice in a large punch bowl.
