White Grape Pie Recipe
Ingredients
| Pie shell | 8 inch, baked | |
| 3 cup seedless white grapes | ||
| White grape juice | 2 Cup (16 tbs) | |
| Cornstarch | 3 Teaspoon | |
| 1 tsp clear vanilla flavoring | ||
Directions
Wash grapes.
Place grapes in a strainer, and pour 1 qtr (1 L) of boiling water over them.
Drain thoroughly.
Combine white grape juice and cornstarch in a saucepan.
Cook and stir over medium heat until mixture is clear and thickened.
Remove from heat and stir in vanilla flavoring. (A small drop of green food coloring can be added, if desired.) Allow to cool to lukewarm.
Place well drained grapes into bottom of pie shell.
Pour juice mixture over the top.
Chill until firm.
