White French Dressing Recipe
Ingredients
| Granulated Sugar | 1/4 Cup (16 tbs) | |
| Salt | 1 1/2 Teaspoon | |
| Dry mustard | 1 Teaspoon | |
| Cornstarch | 1/2 Teaspoon | |
| Speck pepper | ||
| Cayenne pepper | 1 Dash | |
| White vinegar | 1/2 Cup (16 tbs) | |
| 1 c. salad or olive oil | ||
Directions
Blend together the dry ingredients.
Stir in vinegar; heat, stirring constantly, until mixture boils.
Boil 5 min.
Cool; then add the salad oil slowly, while beating with a hand or electric beater.
