White Cakes Recipe
Ingredients
| 2-layer white cake, made from prepared mix | ||
| Peaches | 3 Cup (16 tbs), frozen | |
| Cream cheese | 6 Ounce | |
| Milk cream | 1/4 Cup (16 tbs) | |
| Sugar, if fresh fruit is used | ||
Directions
1. When cake layers are cool, place 1 on a plate.
2. If fresh peaches are used, sweeten them to taste with sugar or honey, and add 2 tablespoons lemon juice to keep peaches from discoloring. Lemon juice may be needed if frozen fruit is used.
3. Blend cream into cream cheese until mixture is spreadable.
4. Spread half the cheese mixture over the cake layer, and add about half the peaches, arranging them evenly, so that the top cake layer will rest evenly on them. Place top layer on the lower layer and frost and decorate with remaining peaches. This cake should be served the same day it is prepared.
