Whipped Cream Cake Recipe

Ingredients
1 1/2 cups sifted cake flour
1 cup sugar
2 teaspoons baking powder
1/4 teaspoon salt
1 cup chilled heavy cream, whipped to soft peaks
1 1/2 teaspoons vanilla extract
1/4 teaspoon lemon extract
2 eggs, well beaten
Directions
Sift the cake flour, sugar, baking powder, and salt together; set aside.
Fold whipped cream, extracts, and beaten eggs together.
Sift about one fourth of the dry ingredi ents at a time over the cream mixture, gently folding until just blended after each addition.
Turn into 2 prepared 8 inch layer cake pans and spread evenly to edges.
Bake at 350°F 30 minutes, or until cake tests done.
Cool and remove from pans.
Fill and frost as desired.
