Whipped Potatoes Recipe

Ingredients
6 medium potatoes, pared and quartered
1 quart (1 liter) boiling water
1 teaspoon (5 ml) salt
1/3 cup (75 ml) milk or cream
3 tablespoons (45 ml) butter, at room temperature
Directions
Boil potatoes in water with 1/2 teaspoon (2 ml) salt about 20 minutes, or until tender.
Drain well; reserve stock for soup base or bread, if desired.
Assemble Mixer.
In large mixer bowl, mix potatoes, milk, butter, and 1/2 teaspoon (2 ml) salt at MEDIUM until creamy.
