Wheatless Flat Bread Recipe
Ingredients
| Rye flour | 2 Cup (16 tbs) | |
| Salt | 1/2 Teaspoon | |
| Baking powder | 2 Teaspoon | |
| Honey | 1 Tablespoon | |
| 1 cup double milk | ||
| 2 tbsp melted butter OR oil | ||
Directions
Combine the dry ingredients, including any milk powder that you might be using for double milk.
Stir the liquid ingredients together, then stir them into the dry mixture until a smooth dough forms.
Oil and flour a cookie sheet or large baking pan (I use a cast iron frying pan). Place the dough on the pan, flour your hands, and pat it into a large circle (or square) that is 1/2 inch thick.
Prick the dough with a fork many times, bake it at 450°F until lightly browned-about 10 minutes.
