Wheat Germ Chocolate Chip Pie Recipe
This delicious Wheat Germ Chocolate Chip Pie is from my grandma's cookbook. It is served as a delicious Dessert. Trust me, you must try this Wheat Germ Chocolate Chip Pie recipe.
Ingredients
1/2 cup butter
3/4 cup sugar
1 cup vacuum packed regular wheat germ or wheat germ with sugar and honey
2 eggs
1 (6 oz.) pkg. Semisweet chocolate pieces
1 1/2 t. pure vanilla extract
1 unbaked 9" pastry shell
Directions
Melt butter and cool.
Gradually beat in sugar.
Add wheat germ, eggs, chocolate pieces and vanilla.
Beat with spoon about 2 minutes or until creamy and blended.
Turn into pastry shell.
Bake in 350° oven 40 to 45 minutes or until knife inserted in center comes out clean.
Top with whipped cream or ice cream and sprinkle with additional wheat germ, if desired.
