Directions

Beat the eggs, then mix with the milk by hand or in an electric blender.
Add the sifted plain flour, the wheat germ and the salt and mix well.
Stir in the vegetable oil.
If mixing by hand, pour the batter through a strainer.
Set aside and allow to stand for at least an hour before using.
If too thick, add a little milk and mix well.
Pour one to two tablespoons of the batter (depending on the size of the pan) in the center of a hot, lightly oiled frypan.
Tilt the pan to spread the batter and cook until the top is dry.
Turn over and cook on the other side for about 15 seconds.
