Wheat Germ Cookies Recipe
Ingredients
2 1/4 cup all-purpose flour
3 tsp baking powder
1/2 tsp salt
1/4 cup wheat germ
1/2 cup margarine
1/4 cup granulated sugar
1/4 cup granulated fructose
2 eggs
1 tsp vanilla extract
Directions
Sift together flour, baking powder, and salt.
Stir in wheat germ; set aside.
Beat margarine, sugar replacement, and fructose until light and fluffy.
Add eggs, one at a time, beating well after each addition.
Beat in vanilla.
Gradually stir flour mixture into creamed mixture.
Mix well.
Cover and chill dough for at least 1 hour.
Divide dough in half.
Roll out each half of the dough on floured surface to scant 1/4 in. (8 mm) thickness.
Cut dough with a floured 1 1/2 in. (3.7 cm) cookie cutter.
Place cookies on a greased cookie sheet, Bake at 400°F (200°C) for 8 minutes, or until golden brown.
Move to cooling rack.
