Directions

GETTING READY
1. Preheat the oven to 350°F

MAKING
2. In a large bowl, combine one and a half cups all-purpose flour, sugar, salt, and yeast; stir well.
3. Add warm water and oil and beat with a mixer at low speed to blend them well; beat at medium speed for a couple of minutes
4. Add the remaining all purpose flour and beat for two more minutes at medium speed; add in the whole wheat flour now and make a soft dough
5. Dust the surface with flour and turn the dough out on it, kneading it into a smooth, elastic consistency
6. Cover it and refrigerate for a minimum of eight hours
7. When making the loaf, punch this dough down, roll it into a 14”X7” rectangle and, roll it up, get rid of air pockets and seal the ends
8. Place the dough with the seam side down on an 8.5”X4.5” loaf pan sprayed with cooking spray, cover nad keep in a warm place to riseto double for an hour
9. Apply a coat of cooking spray on the loaf and bake for thirty eight minutes, when done the bread will sound hollow when tapped
10. Turn out of the oven and allow to cool on a wire rack

SERVING
11. Serve as appropriate
