Wheat Bread And Apple Stuffing Recipe
Ingredients

| Celery | 1/2 Cup (16 tbs), chopped | |
| Onion | 1/4 Cup (16 tbs), chopped | |
| Butter/Margarine | 1/4 Cup (16 tbs) | |

| 4 cups dry whole wheat bread cubes | ||
| Apples | 2 Medium, peeled, finely chopped | |
| Pecans | 1/2 Cup (16 tbs), chopped | |
| Ground sage | 1 Teaspoon | |
| Ground cinnamon | 1/4 Teaspoon | |
| Pepper | 1/8 Teaspoon | |
Directions
In a 1-quart saucepan combine chicken broth, celery, onion, butter, and salt.
Cover and bring to boiling; simmer till vegetables are tender, about 5 minutes.
In a large mixing bowl combine bread cubes, chopped apple, pecans, sage, cinnamon, and pepper.
Pour broth mixture over; toss lightly to moisten.
Use to stuff an 8-to 10-pound turkey (or a 9- to 11-pound domestic goose) or bake, covered, in a greased 1 1/2-quart casserole at 325° about 30 minutes.
