Wheat Berry Muesli Recipe
Ingredients
| Wheat berries | 1/4 Cup (16 tbs) | |
| Water | 1/2 Cup (16 tbs) | |
| Oatmeal | 1/4 Cup (16 tbs) | |
| Yogurt | 1 Cup (16 tbs) | |
| Honey | 3 Tablespoon | |
| Lemon juice | 1 Teaspoon | |
| 2 medium-size eating apples, quartered and cored | ||
| Banana | 1 | |
| 1 cup berries or seedless grapes | ||
Directions
Soak wheat berries in water for at least 12 hours.
Soak oatmeal in water for 30 minutes.
Drain wheat and oatmeal, reserving liquid for soup or gravy.
In a large bowl, combine yogurt, honey and lemon juice.
Grate apple quarters, including the peel, and slice bananas into yogurt mixture, stirring often to mix in the fruit and keep it from discoloring.
Stir drained wheat and oatmeal into the fruit mixture, add berries or grapes and serve immediately.
