Whaling Station Bouillabaisse Recipe
Ingredients
| Onion | 1 , chopped | |
| 1 leek chopped (white part only) | ||
| Olive oil | 1 Teaspoon | |
| Garlic | 2 Clove (5gm), minced | |
| Dry white wine | 1 Cup (16 tbs) | |
| 1 quart fish stock or water and part clam juice | ||
| Few celery leaves | ||
| 1 dozen raw rock clams in their shells | ||
| Raw shrimp | 8 Large | |
| 1 1/2 pounds assorted fish: halibut turbot fillets red snapper rock cod sea bass | ||

| Pepper | To Taste | |
Directions
Using a large soup kettle, saute onion and leek in oil until limp.
Add garlic, wine, stock, celery leaves, and salt and pepper.
Cover and simmer 15 minutes.
Add clams, shrimp, and fish and simmer 10 to 15 minutes longer, or until fish is cooked through.
Ladle into large bowls.
