Western Tuna Buns Recipe
Ingredients
| Tuna | 1 Can (10oz), drained, flaked | |
| Pineapple chunks | 1 Can (10oz), drained | |
| Celery | 1/2 Cup (16 tbs), finley diced | |
| Green pepper | 1/4 Cup (16 tbs), finley diced | |
| Toasted slivered almonds | 1/4 Cup (16 tbs) | |
| 1/4 cup mayonnaise or salad dressing | ||
| Salt | 1/2 Teaspoon | |
| Pepper | 1/8 Teaspoon | |
| Lemon juice | 1 Teaspoon | |
| 8 hamburger rolls, split, toasted and buttered | ||
| Romaine or Boston lettuce | ||
Directions
1 Combine tuna, pineapple, celery, green pepper, almonds, mayonnaise or salad dressing, salt, pepper and lemon juice in bowl; mix lightly.
2 Line hamburger rolls with romaine or lettuce; fill with salad mixture; wrap each in a paper napkin for easy eating.
