Western Salad With Croutons Recipe
Ingredients
| Garlic | 2 Clove (5gm), halved | |
| Salad oil | 1/2 Cup (16 tbs) | |
| 2 small heads iceberg or Romaine lettuce or 1/2 and 1/2 | ||
| Parmesan cheese | 1/2 Cup (16 tbs), grated | |
| Blue cheese | 1/4 Cup (16 tbs), crumbled | |
| Salt | 1/2 Teaspoon | |
| Pepper | 1/4 Teaspoon | |
| Egg | 1 | |
| Lemon juice | 3 1/2 Teaspoon | |
| Worcestershire sauce | 1 Teaspoon | |
| 2 cups crodtons | ||
Directions
Soak garlic in salad oil for 1 hour.
Break up lettuce and put in salad bowl, and sprinkle with Parmesan, blue cheese, salt and pepper.
Drizzle oil, then break egg over lettuce.
Add lemon juice and Worcestershire sauce.
Toss.
Add croutons, and toss lightly.
