Western Perfection Salad Recipe
Ingredients
| Lemon | 1 box, flavored | |
| Hot water | 1 Cup (16 tbs) | |
| Cold water | 1 Cup (16 tbs) | |
| Wine vinegar | 2 Tablespoon | |
| Salt | 1 1/2 Teaspoon | |
| Carrots | 3/4 Cup (16 tbs), finely shredded | |
| 3/4 cup shredded or chopped green cabbage | ||
| Celery | 3/4 Cup (16 tbs), diced | |
| Sour cream or other dressing, as desired | ||
Directions
Dissolve gelatin in hot water.
Stir in next 3 ingredients.
Chill until thickened to the consistency of unbeaten egg whites.
Fold in vegetables and pour into pan (8 x 8 x 2 inches).
Chill until firm.
Cut into 6 servings and put on greens.
Serve with dressing.
Makes 6 servings.
