Western Melon Conserve Recipe
Ingredients
| 2 cups any diced peeled melon | ||
| Peaches | 2 Cup (16 tbs), peeled | |
| Sugar | 3 Cup (16 tbs) | |
| Grated rind and juice of 2 lemons | ||
| California walnuts | 2/3 Cup (16 tbs), chopped | |
Directions
In large saucepan mix all ingredients except nuts.
Cook over low heat, stirring occasionally, for 1 1/4 hours, or until thick and clear.
Add nuts and pour at once into hot sterilized jars and seal.
