Ingredients
2 lb. ground beef
1 onion, chopped
1 green pepper, chopped
1 can green chiles
1 large can stewed tomatoes
1 small can tomato puree
1 can whole kernel corn
1 lb. Cheddar cheese, grated
2 Tbsp. chili powder
1 tsp. garlic powder
1 tsp. comino
Cilantro
Corn tortillas
Sour cream
Directions
Preheat oven to 350°.
Brown beef and drain.
Saute onions and peppers.
Add tomatoes, corn and seasonings and simmer 15 minutes.
Line 13 x 9-inch pan with corn tortillas.
Pour in meat mixture.
Top with tortillas, first dipping them in water or milk to keep them from drying.
Cover with grated cheese and sour cream.
Bake until cheese melts, approximately 30 minutes.
