Asian Style Watercress Soup Recipe
This Watercress Soup tastes incredible ! Rich, luxurious watercress has been my favorite be it for sandwiches or for a side course and now this soup is the best of all watercress dishes that I've ever tasted ! Ingredients
2 cups watercress, tightly packed
1/2 pound lean beef
1 tablespoon soy sauce
1 teaspoon oil
1 teaspoon salt
3 cups chicken broth
3 cups water
1/4 teaspoon sesame seed oil
Directions
Wash the watercress thoroughly and discard the hard stems.
Dice the lean beef fine and mix well in a bowl with the soy sauce, oil and salt.
Allow it to stand for about 30 minutes.
Bring the chicken broth and water to a boil and add watercress.
Stir well, and when it comes to the boil again add a drop of sesame seed oil and the meat.
Stir thoroughly and serve very hot.
