Warming Winter Soup Recipe
|Butter||1⁄4 Cup (4 tbs)|
|Leek||1 Large, finley sliced|
|Carrots||2 Large, peeled and thinly sliced|
|Cubed potato||1 Cup (16 tbs), peeled|
|Cauliflower||1 Small, divided into florets|
|Celery sticks||2 , finely chopped|
|Onion||1 , finely chopped|
|Fatty bacon slice||2 , rind removed and chopped|
|Mixed herbs||1 Teaspoon|
|Beef bouillon/Chicken bouillon||4 1⁄4 Cup (68 tbs) (Well Flavored)|
|Ground black pepper||To Taste|

2 Stir in the leek, carrots, potato, cauliflower florets, celery, onion and bacon. Mix well.
3 Cover with plastic wrap and pierce. Microwave on full power for 4 minutes.
4 Stir in the herbs, stock (bouillon) and pepper to taste.
5 Cover with plastic wrap and pierce. Microwave on full power for 17 minutes, stirring once, half way through cooking.
6 Allow to stand, covered, for 6 minutes before serving with grated cheese and French bread.
