Warm Spiced Fruit Recipe

Ingredients

 
1 (16-ounce) can peach halves in light syrup, drained
 
1 (16-ounce) can pear halves in light syrup, drained
 
1 (8-ounce) can unsweetened pineapple slices, drained
 
1 cup unsweetened apple juice
 
1/4 teaspoon ground cinnamon
 
1/4 teaspoon ground mace
 
2 tablespoons chopped pecans, toasted

Directions

Combine fruit in a 1 1/2-quart baking dish.
Pour apple juice over fruit, and sprinkle with spices, stir gently.
Bake at 325° for 45 minutes.
Spoon into 6 individual compotes, top each with 1 teaspoon toasted pecans.
Serve warm.
