Warm Fruit Compote With Mustard Recipe
Ingredients
1 (8-ounce) can unsweetened pineapple chunks, undrained
1 medium banana, sliced
1 (16-ounce) can peach slices in light syrup, drained
1 (16-ounce) con pear slices in light syrup, drained
3 tablespoons firmly packed brown sugar
1 tablespoon prepared mustard
Directions
Drain pineapple, reserving juice.
Toss banana in pineapple juice, drain, reserving juice.
Combine pineapple, banana, peaches, and pears in a 1-quart baking dish.
Combine reserved pineapple juice, brown sugar, and mustard in a small bowl; pour over fruit.
Bake, uncovered, at 325° for 20 minutes or until thoroughly heated.
