Warm Herb Cheese Spread Recipe
The warm herb cheese spread is a baked cream cheese spread prepared with a four herb medley. Flavored with lemon juice and moistened with milk, the warm herb cheese spread has cooked shrimps in it and a dash of garlic powder to taste. Baked till heated through, it is good as a snack or party food.
Ingredients
3 (8-ounce) packages cream cheese, softened
1/4 cup Milk
1/4 cup Lemon Juice from Concentrate
1/2 teaspoon each dried basil, marjoram, oregano and thyme leaves
1/4 teaspoon garlic powder
1/2 pound cooked shrimp, chopped
Directions
Preheat oven to 350°F In large mixer bowl, beat cream cheese just until smooth.
Gradually beat in milk then brand and seasonings.
Add shrimp if desired.
Spoon into 9-inch quiche dish or pie plate.
Cover; bake 15 minutes or until hot.
Garnish as desired.
Serve warm with crackers, breadsticks and assorted fresh vegetables.
Refrigerate leftovers.
