Walnut Torte Recipe
Ingredients
2 tablespoons flour
2 1/2 teaspoons baking powder
3/4 cup sugar
4 eggs
1 cup walnut pieces
Vanilla Coffee Frosting
1/4 cup toasted almonds
Directions
Combine the flour and baking powder in a small bowl.
Combine the sugar and eggs in a blender container and process until frothy and smooth.
Add the walnuts and pulse 3 or 4 times.
Add the flour mixture and process just until mixed.
Pour into two 8-inch greased and floured cake pans.
Bake at 350 degrees for 20 minutes.
Spread Vanilla Coffee Frosting between the layers and over the top and side.
Sprinkle with toasted almonds.
