Walnut Spoon Pudding Recipe
Ingredients
1 c. soft dried dark figs
1/4c. soft butter
2/3 c. (packed) brown sugar
1/4 tsp. cinnamon
1/8 tsp. cloves
1/8 tsp. Nutmeg
1 egg, beaten
3/4 c. sifted all-purpose flour
1/4 tsp. soda
1/2 tsp. salt
1 c. chopped California walnuts
Directions
"Clip stems from figs; cut into small pieces.
Cream butter, brown sugar, spices and egg together until blended and fluffy.
Sift flour, soda and salt together; add to creamed mixture, blending well.
Stir in figs and walnuts.
Turn into greased 9-inch square pan.
