Directions

Sift flour with salt, then rub in butter.
Mix to a stiff paste with water.
Knead lightly until smooth, then roll out into an oblong8" x 10".
Spread with Marmite to within 1/2 -in.
of edges, sprinkle the entire surface with the chopped walnuts, then roll up as a Swissroll, starting from the longer side.
Chill for about 1 hour.
Cut into 1/4-inch slices and place, cut side up, on a greased baking tray.
Bake in the centre of the oven at 425° F for 15 - 20' minutes.
