Walnut Cookies Recipe
These crispy and crunchy walnut cookies pretty much go with any of your hot sip favorites. Quick and easy to make, enjoy the goodness of walnuts flavored with coffee essence!
Ingredients
3 oz. self-raising flour
pinch salt
3 oz. walnuts
2 oz. butter
1 tspn, coffee essence
2 oz. castor sugar
a little coffee butter icing and
extra 1/2 -oz.walnuts
Directions
Cream butter and sugar and beat in essence.
Chop up the walnuts.
Fold in the sieved flour and salt, then stir in the walnuts.
Knead the mixture lightly, then pinch off pieces, the size of a walnut.
Form into balls and lay well apart on a greased baking sheet.
Bake at 375° F for about 15 - 20 minutes.
When cold, spread a circle of coffee butter icing on top and decor- ate with the extra 1/2 -oz.
