Walnut Turkey Hash Recipe
Ingredients
| 4 cups boneless skinless cooked turkey chunks | ||
| Potatoes | 2 Medium, baked | |
| Butter/Margarine | 3 Tablespoon | |
| 1 cup California walnut pieces | ||
| Green onions | 1/2 Cup (16 tbs), sliced | |
| Sage | 1 Teaspoon, rubbed | |
| Dried thyme leaves | 1 Teaspoon, crushed | |
| Turkey gravy | 1 Cup (16 tbs) | |
| Parsley | 1/3 Cup (16 tbs), chopped | |
| Salt | To Taste | |
| Pepper | To Taste | |
Directions
Combine turkey and potatoes in food processor.
Process until coarsely chopped; set aside.
Melt butter in large skillet.
Add walnuts; toss over medium-low heat until golden brown.
Remove with slotted spoon; set aside.
Add onions, sage and thyme to skillet.
Cook and stir 2 minutes.
Add turkey mixture and gravy.
Cook and stir until heated through.
Add reserved walnuts, salt and pepper.
Spoon onto serving platter; sprinkle with parsley.
