 1 x 10 oz packet brown bread mix

Directions

Make up and knead the dough according to the packet instructions. Roll out on a floured surface to a 30 cm (12 inch) square. Beat the cheese with the cream, walnuts and seasoning and spread over the dough. Roll up like a Swiss roll and cut into nine even-sized slices. Place, cut sides down, in a greased and bottom-lined 16 cm (65 inch) square cake tin. Cover loosely with oiled cling wrap and leave to rise until double in size, about 40 minutes.
Bake in a preheated very hot oven (230°C/450°F, Gas Mark 8) for about 20 minutes. Cool on a wire rack. Serve slightly warm, pulled apart like Chelsea buns. Makes 9
