Directions

Place egg yolks in large bowl; whites in small bowl.
To yolks add buttermilk; beat well.
(Lightly spoon flour into measuring cup; level off.) Add flour, baking powder, soda and salt; beat until smooth.
Stir in melted butter.
Beat egg whites until soft peaks form.
Fold into batter.
Bake in preheated waffle iron, set at medium heat, 5 to 8 minutes until steaming stops and waffle is golden brown.
