Ingredients

 1 cup buttermilk pancake mix
 Milk1 Cup (16 tbs)
 Egg1
 2 tablespoons melted or liquid shortening

Directions

Place mix, milk, egg and shortening in bowl.
Beat with rotary beater until batter is fairly smooth.
Bake in hot waffle iron until steaming stops.
Cut each waffle section into small pieces for dipping into fondue
