2/3 cup butter or margarine
3/4 cup sugar

1 cup raisins, plumped
Directions
Cream butter and sugar. Add eggs and mix well. Combine oats, flours, salt, cinnamon, ginger, baking powder, and baking soda, and add alternately with the sour milk. Stir in raisins. Heat waffle iron to medium heat. Drop a tablespoonful of dough on each section of the waffle iron, and bake 3 to 5 minutes. Serve warm. Note: Waffle-iron cookies are easy and fun for children to bake.
