Voodoo Pie Recipe
Ingredients
| Eggs | 2 | |
| Sugar | 1/2 Cup (16 tbs) | |
| Heavy cream | 1 Cup (16 tbs) | |
| Lime juice | 1/2 Cup (16 tbs) | |
| 1 tablespoon grated lime peel | ||
| 1 or 2 drops green food coloring | ||
| Chocolate ice cream | 1 Pint, softened | |
| 1 baked 10 in Chocolate Cookie Crumb Crust | ||
| Grated unsweetened chocolate | ||
Directions
Beat eggs and sugar until thick and piled softly.
Stir in cream and lime juice and peel until well blended; tint pale green with food coloring.
Turn into refrigerator tray; freeze until mushlike in consistency.
Beat until smooth and return to refrigerator tray.
Freeze until almost firm.
Spread ice cream over bottom of pie shell; spoon lime mixture over ice cream.
Garnish top of pie with grated chocolate.
