Vitamin Broth Recipe
Ingredients
1/2 teacup boiled barley
2 teaspoons yeast extract (Marmite)
3 tablespoons chopped french beans
3 tablespoons chopped carrots
3 tablespoons chopped cabbage
1 chopped onion
2 tablespoons butter, salt and pepper to taste
Directions
Heat the butter in a vessel and fry the onions for a little time.
Add the chopped vegetables and cook for 5 minutes.
Add 7 teacups of water and the barley, marmite and salt.
Boil for 10 minutes. Add pepper and serve hot.
