Virginia Ham With Gravy Recipe

Ingredients

 
4 slices country ham, cut in half
 
2 tablespoons butter or margarine, melted
 
1 (10-ounce) can beef gravy, undiluted
 
1 teaspoon instant coffee granules
 
3 tablespoons water
 
Fresh parsley sprigs (optional)

Directions

Cook ham in butter in a large skillet until browned on both sides, drain.
Transfer ham to serving platter, set aside, and keep warm.
Stir remaining ingredients except parsley into pan drippings.
Bring to a boil, reduce heat, and simmer 5 minutes, stirring occasionally.
Serve gravy with ham.
Garnish ham with parsley, if desired.
