Ingredients

 2 tablespoons plain nonfat yogurt
 Balsamic vinegar2 Tablespoon
 4 tablespoons acceptable vegetable oil
 Salt1/4 Teaspoon
 Ground black pepper1/8 Teaspoon

Directions

Combine all ingredients in a small bowl and whisk until thoroughly blended.
Cover and refrigerate.
For each variation below, add the listed ingredients to the above recipe.
1 tablespoon Dijon mustard, 1 teaspoon water.
1/4 teaspoon garlic powder, 1/2 teaspoon salt-free lemon-pepper seasoning, 2 tablespoons chopped fresh parsley (omit pepper in basic recipe).
2 tablespoons finely chopped green onion.
Each of the following fresh herbs, finely chopped: 1 tablespoon basil, 1/2 tablespoon rosemary and 1 tablespoon thyme.
